About the Joe Ryan Memorial Scholarship
The Joe Ryan Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the life and legacy of Joe Ryan—a hardworking, devoted father who believed deeply in the value of a Catholic education.
Joe worked multiple jobs to provide his four children with the opportunity to attend Catholic grade school and high school, a sacrifice that reflected his unwavering commitment to faith, family, and opportunity. He was known for his generosity, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his deep connection to his community.
This scholarship continues that legacy by supporting families who are striving to provide their children with a Catholic high school education. It is awarded to students who demonstrate financial need, strong character, and a willingness to work hard—just as Joe did throughout his life.
Through this scholarship, we hope to ease the burden for families and open doors for students, keeping Joe’s spirit of generosity and dedication alive for years to come.
